Change or Fix IMEI on Mediatek and Chamelephon Devices

Many are aware of what an IMEI is but many aren't informed on how to fix it if in case they lost it.
This tutorial will help you how to change or fix the IMEI on your Mediatek or Chamelephon device.
We do not need a personal computer nor programming backgrounds. We only need a stable internet connection and root access on our Android phone.
Why do we need a stable internet connection?
We need it because we are going to download an application on Google Playstore. This app, Chamelephon, is available for FREE to all Android phone users.
Chamelephon works perfectly on Chamelephon and Mediatek 65xx devices.

After you have downloaded the app, the next thing we need is root access. I assume that you know already how to root your device since it will be impossible for a device to lost its IMEI without rooting.
So here are the steps.
1. Open Chamelephon application on your app drawer.
2. You should grant root access to the application.

3. Click "Generate Random IMEIs" or you can manually input the original IMEI of your device.
4. Click "Apply New IMEIs"
5. Reboot and you are done.

It is easy to change or fix the IMEI on our Mediatek or Chamelephon device, right?
